💥📣We are very excited to announce the third webinar of our series “Gender and Health”, on Thursday, the 23rd of June at 7pm CET!

🎯In the webinar ‘Non-binary - introduction, language and wording in patient contact’, Alexander Hahne will give us an overview over the challenges of non-binary patients and how to best ensure their care in the healthcare system.

🔸What does it mean to go to the doctor as a non-binary patient, with a body that does not look like the majority of bodies shown in medical school?

🔸In this webinar, @alexander_hahne will provide an introduction to gender-affirming care for non-binary patients in different contexts: the question of gender will probably come up when patients go to the gynaecologist. But what about the cardiologist or dermatologist? How can we be attentive to questions of gender and gender transformation when we talk to, examine and treat our patients - in short: how can we create an affirming environment for non-binary people in our medical practice, across disciplines?

🔸Alexander Hahne (he/him) is a Berlin-based gay trans man, sex educator (gsp), somatic counselor, sexological bodyworker (ISB), dancer and pleasure activist. Alexander also works as a speaker for trans-specific topics in the field of sexual health, and offers group and individual counselling on the topics of body awareness, intimacy and sexuality. In the healthcare context, Alexander provides practical and actionable tips and recommendations for professionals working with and alongside trans* and non-binary colleagues and patients.
